i would like to say i was less confused than before, but alas, all the unfamiliar terms in the kayaking hobby have me attempting to gleen tid-bits of information from each of the fine "post-ers" here. I have indeed a better understanding of the purpose for deck rigging. I do however belive that first hand experiance would be a better information transfer medium.
