OK... I think I finally got how to post pics here. This is a pic of the canoe I built last year. I made it out of black walnut because I had soooo much of it around. I used Gil Gilpatricks book on strip building canoes and it turned out pretty good. I've used it several times and got loads of comments, looks and finger pointing paddling and driving around. My next project will be a Great Auk following Nicks book. I've been working on cutting out the forms for it.
