: The peel ply is between the bag and the laminate primarly to get a smooth
: surface on the interior. The vacuum bag wrinkles some as it sucks down.
: Without the peel ply we would have to sand down little ridges and bumps on
: the kayak interior. It also acts as a bleeder and wicks away excess resin.
: Lastly it keeps the infusion tubes from bonding to the laminate.
