I am surprised at how close the numbers are for the western red cedar samples. A .222 inch (nominal 1/4 inch) sample with a single layer of 3 ounce cloth on each side was very close to the strength of other thicknesses of wood, and the other layups. It makes me wonder if adding two or three layers of cloth is worth the money.
