I would take a strip long enough to fit in. The edges of the already laid strips are one bead one cove. Turn the cheater strip so you dont have to work on the cove side. Make the wedge just a little bit too big and bit by bit sand up the bead so it fits in the cove. Take it bit by bit and you will end up with a perfect matching.
If you can´t use that trick, use your utilityknife and shave away the cove.
In this case fit in the bead side and then plane the cove side to fit.
