Up until the West coast Sea Kayak Symposium this year, Brooks thought all the Pygmy cockpits were the same size. I took my AT 14 and my skirt and showed them that it fit poorly. It was too wide, causing sagging and puddling, lots of puddling. The rep was surprised it didn't fit because "All Pygmy cockpits are the same size." But with the boat and the skirt in front of him he had to agree. He made a pattern of my cockpit and when he compared it to the other Pygmy cockpits at the symposium, he discovered that the AT 14 was indeed narrower.

So, if Brooks is making a sprayskirt just for the AT 14, buy it. The skirt I had, even though it was too wide, was the right length. I did a lot of rolling practice with it and it never came off.

The Snapdragon Large fits my AT 14. It is a bit of a struggle even with the large because the AT 14 (and all Pygmy) cockpit is sooo long.
