I've brought and moved into a house with no garage, leaving my potential kayak 25mins drive away (how dumb is that !).
As building a garage is some time away, I'm considering building the yak in my hallway !
The hallway is wide enough I think (1.4m, with alcoves and doors to rooms etc) and has a high'ish stud (2.5m).
My plan is to suspend the yak from a couple of points, lowering it onto a couple of saw horses for building and raising it out of the way when not (would be well above door height). Possibly with wheels on the saw horses so I can move it around a bit (TV veiwing ...) if needed.
I live alone so no partner conflict and acknowledge the need for glue drip protection & generally being a lot more tidy / clean than in a garage.
So, any comments / problems I might need to consider ?

Also, I'm only at the 'aligning forms' stage, but it is possible that I might get a few strips laid before moving the yak.
Is moving something with only a few strips on it a problem (re fairness), am I best to get a reasonable amount laid first or start when at my house ?
