I got a freebe neo for the G17 we built then we built a Artic Tern and got in a rush a bought a $40.00 nylon at REI that leaks from the water coming off the Greenland paddle. We did not try to fix it just bought a neo from the Kayak store,gone. Better nylons will work but wear out, neo can last a long time.
