so i guess the lesson for both you and me is, if possible, to put enough of a sealcoat down that can take a little scraping or whatever to deal with the eventual drips.

and if you're resigned to changing, you've got then got some space to try a few things:
1/what if you scrape the whole 2 panels - can you get to a similar condition all over? or if you 'seal'(drip simulation) and then scrape?
2/or what if this sheer panel is made very dark, then the lighter usual stained panels in the ctr are sort of outlined by it.
3/if the just the rear 3' is affected, what abt pinstriping the top sheerpanels near the ctr with it widening out to overpt just those areas and do the same for the front as well. seen quite a few like this
4/taking off the veneer in the damaged area to simulate above and veneering back over w/ diff wd.
5/can the panels be removed and flipped upside down to opp side - is the backside similar grain. maybe sheerpaint req'd here as that edge will be changed.
6/if heat gun can soften glue so much that panels can be dismantled, maybe it can soften those dripped areas to wirebrush to get a rougher surface to restain.
7/stain or stain the next epoxy big time so those panels are so dark that differences are not noticed so much.
8/or just pt the panels or leave some areas open.
