I have just finished carving my latest cedar Greenland paddle and would like to fiberglass the blades. I already Dynel the tips for durability but need some tips on fiberglassing. What weight fabric should I use? Are there any special techniques involved with layering the fabric on the paddle blade? Is it OK to overlap the fabric around the blade? Obviously my fiberglassing experience is very limited and any tips are appreciated.
