Joe:
Congrats on the new arrival!
I have used both the 12 oz. nylon from Dyson and the 10 oz. polyester canvas from Tacoma Tent. The canvas was easier to work with and has a much finer weave that disappears quickly. It is supposed to be tougher that the 12 oz. nylon. I also found that it did not get pulls and runs in it like the nylon when sewing.
Either one will work fine, but I found the poly canvas easier to work with.
Regards,
Marcel
