The plant has been winding down over the last three years. We know it's coming, it's just a matter for the company to bleed out a little more profit as they can before the door finally shuts down. The nice thing is that I won't lose my pension, it can be bridged, so I'm ok with whatever happens. ALso, I get a nice severance cheque. That translates to time off and a nice longer kayak trek somewhere in the Canadian wilderness. I'm kinda looking forward to it.
