All glass layup are always heavy or not stiff. There was a sailboat builder that made all glass boats that did big time oil caning in the waves. Sounded like a kettle drum was down below. I thought of making a SG with sheet HDPE for rock gardening, not cheap or lite but could look cool and be fun.
