S&G: Next Question - Stitch Holes

OK, moving right along. My directions tell me I'm supposed to fill all my stitch holes with thickened epoxy. I did this on the seat and concluded it's a lot more trouble and mess than it's worth.
What's everyone's opinion on filling stitch holes? Seems to me they'll get filled with resin when I glass anyway. Or does a bubble get trapped inside that needs filling?
