: What's everyone's opinion on filling stitch holes? Seems to me they'll get
: filled with resin when I glass anyway.
I did fillets in short sections between stitches, so it would be easy to
remove the stitch wires. The holes got pretty well filled when I filled in
the gaps in the fillets.

If you filleted right over the stitches and then pulled the wires out,
you are going to have holes that are almost impossible to fill anyway.
I'm sure there will be some bubble trapped, but I'd be very surprised
if it made any difference to the strength of the boat, and fairly
surprised if you could even tell that the holes weren't filled. No-one,
unless they are some sort of utter perfectionist, ever fills staple holes
in strip boats (and utter perfectionists build staple-less anyway), and
I certainly can't see any evidence that there is a bubble in any of the
holes on my boats ...
