I have one heck of a time moving the kayak (soon to be Kayak(s)) in and out of the garage door when I want to load it on the car for a trip. I'm going to build a low plastic structure (lean-to) on the side of the garage so I can store the kayaks there instead. That means I won't be knocking things off the tables and counters or bouncing the kayak on the top of the motorcycle while trying to maneuver it out.

You see, something relevant did come out of this little diversion from building. We're back within the boundaries of this forum.
