Caution: make sure to do it in small batches otherwise the heat generated can soften any nearby glass work. Been there; done that! I eventually figured out that I could put ice ina plastic bag and wrap the bow/stern with it to keep the released heat from cooking the glass. This will allow you to use larger batches without any further problems.
