You've basically described the approach I took, Mike. The end pour helped to maintain structural integrity when I ran the rapids last year. The bow should ahve split in half and the deck should have separated from the bow but the end pour clearly help things together. Too bad the hull busted at the cockpit or I might have ahd a better ride.
