Here is a pic of the cleaned up mould. We had quite a bit of trouble with the plug sticking to the mould, but a few hours of scraping cleaned it up. The parting line between the 2 halves is excellent. You should be able to see the faint line running the length of the canoe. There are some defects in the Gelcoat, but they are easily reworked.

Next step is to build a ledge around the top, then proceed with rework and polishing.
