"Should a done" , "could a done"?

Don and David,
What if Bruce recoats with epoxy to re-fill the weave or cover the "sanded" weave, will that help? I'm thinking it might not, but I'm not sure. I've never tried it...except on the keel line of my present project...I layed the 9 oz. tape and then sanded the edges to try and feather it down (leaving quite a noticable tape line--no edge though) before the next layer of glass (which went to cover the entire hull) went on. I didn't try to fill the weave of the feathered tape, thinking the next lay up would fill it in enough, so my experience really doesn't apply to Bruce's situation. However, just wondering about a "should a done", "could a done".
