: Just applying the last few coats of varnish on my Great Auk and I was reading
: through the label on the can and noticed something I hadn't seen
: before..."DO NOT USE BELOW THE WATERLINE"...What?????? I am
: using Z-SPAR 2015 flagship varnish which was recomended to me as
: "great" for this application. Can anyone provide advice to me as
: to how to proceed? I am trying to finish up for a trip to the Everglades
: in January. Thanks. Also, still looking for advice on where to find a
: skirt to exactly fit my Great Auk cockpit. Are they readily available or
: do I need to have one made? Thanks
Scott,
No problem - the "do not use below the waterline" caution only applies to boats that are kept (stored) in the water.
