My wife is 5'8" and 150lbs. A skilled canoe paddler, she is new to kayaking. I already exchanged messages with Nick and he thought the "S" would be the right size. I am interested in how well it tracks and other performance characteristics, particularily compared to other boats.

Half a foot will not make that much difference.
