I will be working on a very diferent craft. I have come to the conclusion that you can't build a surf kayak with the handling charicteistics that I want using only wood. and I beleave that the boat I want will have to come out of my head. At this point I have a good idea of what I want and how the construction should be done. One of the things that I am scracthing my head about is how to get a very stiff hull. I will be seeing some of the newest high performance surf kayaks this weekend and will soon be drawing up plans.
