it works great for the racing seats. i have seen it done but not tried it. if you cut the foam it isnt water proof anymore. so it needsbe sealed if you trim it.

BTW UPS uses the stuff to pack boxes.

it gets hot, so it might not be easy without a racing suit.

you could probably try it out with a can of "GREaT STUFF" from depot.
