I have to admit that I'm usually a little biased against short wood boats. They just don't look right to me,a person who thinks the super long and sleek J-boats are the absolute nicest boats in existence. But... Yours really looks good. I think it may have something to do with the deck design, complementing the shortness, rather than making the boat look stubby.
Again, it really looks good!!
