That was the only real sticky spot I had in my Great Auk building (not quite done yet, but all that's left is spit and polish). I finally got tired of fighting the strip, so I grabbed a bunch of 1 1/4 inch nails. They held the strip pretty well. I even used a few drywall screws. From there it was all smooth sailing.
: I am building a Greak Awk. I have been wresling, unsuccessfully, to start the
: deck but I can't get past the sheer line. The problem is that the first
: deck strip meets the first hull strip at close to 90 degrees in the fromt
: stations, transitions to 30 degrees or so in the middle stations and then
: back to 90 degrees in the back several stations.
: I wrestled with this strip for a while several months ago and had to walk
: away from it in frustration. I have worked up the motivation to try again.
: I am not having any more success than before.
: I need your cousel. Thanks.
