I've been toying with the idea of using a new latch for my hatches, but I need some measurements before I can figure out which model I need. Given that I am planning ahead, and I don't have my boat fiberglassed yet, I can't measure my own. I've been using 1/4" strips, and I plan on using 6 oz glass, with the typical fiberglass lip for the hatches. Can anybody, tell me the total thickness of the hatch cover, and the total thickness of the fiberglass lip? Would it be between .075 -.475" (2-12mm) or .475 -.885" (12-22.5mm)?

Has any ever tried these latches before? Seems like they would work well.
