Two cubic feet is a HUGE amount of foam. A seat would take nowhere near that amount. As for the heat, I don't know, as I haven't done it personally. I did see Lee do a demo once and the person he did it for didn't complain of any discomfort. IIRC Lee recommends wearing neoprene shorts, both for protection and to provide a bit of wiggle room in the finished seat.
