tinted glue?

Lots of good stuff in this thread. It was mentioned that B&C can open up and expose glue (yep, mine did in spots).

Made me wonder.... is it possible to tint yellow glue so that any exposed glue lines would simply look like a variation in the color of the wood? Anybody try that or have opinions on if it would work, ruin the glue, or what have you?
