Off Topic: thanks for keeping me sane *LINK* *Pic*

Got some bad news today. As I posted earlier, our house, tree farm, and salvage logging business in Ohio had a Commercial Shooting Range installed next to us 2.5 years ago. After living with massive amounts of shotgun fire within 300', armed men (looking like the gent in the photo, on our fenceline) walking up to my children on our playset, and death threats, we finally abandoned the place. 6 mos ago. The 5000 sq ft house and basement shop were nice, but the standing timber is all shot full of #7 pellets, which do not look pretty in the finish of a kayak, or anything else, I guess.

The Appeals court of Ohio (one step below the Supreme court), although aware that a rain of shot is falling 1000 feet into our property, has upheld it, so it looks like bankruptcy for us. Thanks to you all for your good humor and intelligence. Frankly, I do not know where I would be right now without the therapy of stripping, or hitting this forum once in a while.

If any of you know someone you care about who is even considering moving to Ohio, please discourage them. On the other hand, if you don't like them, tell them it's a great place, and let them in to what is living hell, at least the SW quarter of the State. Or, if you know anyone interested in a shot-up farm next to a shooting range, let me know. Mike
