After I had my wife run hysterically into the basement (where, of course, I was playing with wood) to tell me that a gent (with rifle) was looking at my 6-year-old on her playset in a threatening manner, that was my first instinct. When I mentioned the incident to the County zoning chief, he suggested I should have dispatched the moron. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, I'd be nailed. Also, I'm not too sure if I'm comfortable in the role of idiot exterminator.

We had a sitting county judge admit at a hearing that he stood on our fenceline and watched his buddies shoot into our property, as much as 1000'. Tough to fight city hall, and zoning dept, and judges, and.... with little kids standing there. They actually tried to press charges against me for taking the picture that was in the earlier post. Call it 'hunter harrassment'. Taking a picture. Life in Ohio. :) Mike
