This leaves me totally aghast! It makes me glad to live in a country where the sale, ownership and use of guns is under some control. (I have hunted, and owned a gun and enjoyed it, BTW.) I hate to sound like I'm bragging, but I don't believe this could have happened in Canada. There are shooting ranges, but the presence of a house downrange would prevent one from opening, and rounds going onto your property would get the serious attention of the police. Well, 'nuff said. I hope you recover, because living well is the best revenge.
