Some of us do use milled fibers in our fillets to strengthen them. I guess its one of those topics that doesn't come up very often. Here's a link to the Raka site for some of their products. According to Raka, they (milled fibers) are used to make strong, dense fillets. I usually use the "milled" fibers which is actually powder because I read somewhere that it made the mix stronger than the "chopped" fibers (I don't know, I just took their word for it (whoever "THEY" are???)) I also add a little wood dust and cabosil to the mix. Hummm - sometimes I think I should have been a cook - with all the ingredient mixin' goin' on!
