Bruce-

Thanks for doing the great thing this year. I served in Gulf I, sorry we did not do it right the first time.

We are having trouble getting it in the local media for a couple of reasons:

1. The County is completely Republican (Every single officeholder), so the local papers will not take the story, because the opposing attorney is a sitting judge in the same county. It appears that if he wants the story squelched, it gets squelched. In deposition that seemed to be the thing he was most interested in : which member of the media I had talked to.

2. The damage to local real estate values seems to be a factor. I suspect (but do not know for certain) that members of the real estate community also want to keep the lid on, to attempt to limit the lowering of area values.

It has been an interesting education in the way things can work.
