They are both Rob Macks designs. One Panache and a ShootingStar. RM can take credits for them once again. The kayaks are admired anywhere I show them.
The wood is Nordic spruce(picea abies)4.5 x 19 mm c´n´b. Accents is mahogany.
The Panache weights in at 21 kilo and the SS at 17 kilo. They both have the whole hull doubled with glass.
They both have been used a lot and have many scratches and many stories to tell. The shores in our lake are stoney and with sharp, hard debris from the old mining tradition here. Thats why double layers.
