Black alder, aspen and mahogany. This kayak is a Guillemot VL :) , and the picture is from a 5 days trip in Sweden. The kayak was really heavy loaded on this trip.

I'm now building a modified Guillemot Ex. with norwegian pine, aspen, cherry and black walnut, see pic of hull below.
