Check the right column of pictures, 5th picture down from the top shows the canvas skin and a two ribs on the inside. Someone's hand is shoving in a plank. There is already one plank in place, and the keelson is at the bottom of the picture. The picture to the left of that shows how the planks are cut to fit at the bow ( or stern) one piece is in place and the upper one, with its tapered end is apparently about to be slid forward. The color of the canvas is very close to the color of the light wood, which may make identifying the parts difficult. Look for the wood grain on the pieces.

The second pictures from the top, in both columns, show the gunwales and stretchers which give the "football" shape to the boat. On the right they have been lifted up on sawhorses, probably directly above the fabric. In the left picture the fabric has been atached to the gunwales and is hanging in place. It looks like the builder has his foot inside the boat and is kicking a board resting on the fabric. I assume this is to get out wrinkles.
The sawhorses are gone here and the frame and canvas are supported by the crossed poles.

This appears to be very much the North American style of canoe building.
