I am doing a fiberglass hull, so I am trying to prevent oil canning I guess. I was thinking of making it like merrimack's kevlar canoes are made, cloth hull with wood strips(half ribs that cover just the deck altered with full ribs) from there web site. Now, I'm not sure. Maybe I'll just go all fiberglass.
