I actually wanted to build a great auk as practice for the ultimate expedition single. Sadly "The minister of war" said no more kayaks, so I have had to launch into the expedition single project.

So, I am kind of jealous of your efforts. Keep up the good work; don't hesitate to use the heat gun on any reluctant strips. And while staples are good, avoid using too many, where a good dose of heat gun and 1 staple will work better.

Don't forget to tape or wax your forms to stop the strips being glued to them (in my haste to lay down those first sweet stips - I did :o .
