Jeff, I did like the same thing about 4 weeks ago. As I look at the pic of the bow end you posted, the keel is pointing UP, and the deck is DOWN. Is that what you were thinking? Is so, you are right. It looked weird to me when I was doing it because I thought the vee should be the keel. I changed the forms about 6 times (really) before I actually screwed them down. Good luck. I almost finished the hull on my Great Auk over the weekend. It actually looks like a boat. Rock on!
