Good thing you asked here, huh?
I'm a first-timer, too. When I laid out the S&G panels on the floor, the bottom hull panels and the center deck panels were obvious. But I wasn't *real* sure about the rest of them (nothing was labeled), and I began wondering if I was doomed to a Paint-By-Numbers level of building. The flat-on-the-floor panels just didn't look like they could possibly become a 3D boat! The whole exercise reminded me of 4th grade geography class and those strange diagrams of "the earth mapped to a 2D surface."
An hour or so later, after flexing the other panels where I thought they should bend, I nervously decided which ones were which. I had visions of building a, um, UNIQUE kayak. But -- whew -- I got the stock version without having to embarrass myself.
