You didn't mention if you are using staples, but you might want to consider using wire brad nails instead. They get much more of a "bite" on the forms and keep the strips in place. I discovered the nail method about halfway through my Great Auk and it made all the difference in the world in keeping the strips on the forms. You can use bits of scrap strip for additional leverage. Additionally, you end up with only half as many holes.
