Very nice work, and brings up some points to ponder. From my first read, my take on this is that there's some further work needed to understand the failure mode in the the "plywood" section. I can't wait for the revisions!

I noticed some mispellings and grammatical errors which I hopefully present to you clearly.

In the "plywood" section, the sentence near the top:
"Table I contains data for samples made with 4 mm Okoume plywood and five different styles of glass that are of interest to kayak builders. All samples were made with Raka 127 epoxy AND 606 hardener."

The "and" should be "with" or perhaps "with Raka" As an example:

Table I contains data for samples made with 4 mm Okoume plywood and five different styles of glass that are of interest to kayak builders. All samples were made with Raka 127 epoxy WITH Raka 606 hardener.

At the bottom of that page in the caption for Figure 5:
"Figure 5. Tested samples of 4 mm Okoume with 5 oz Raka E-glass and 6 oz 8-HS S-glass. The impact side of the samples is shown in (a) and the underside of the samples is shown in (b). In each image the 5 oz is on the left and the 6 oz is on the right. (note: the 6 oz sample in (b) is [labled] incorrectly - it should read 1 x 8-HS)"

In the note, the word "labeled" is misspelled (I put it in brackets).

In the "Strip layup" page there's a misspelling near the top. Following is the sentence and heading:

"Nick Shade's samples"

Look like your spell-checker went and switched "Schade's" to "Shade's" Following the heading is this:

"Nick had some northern white cedar (NWC) samples left over from the three-point bend work we had done a few years ago, and he sent them out for testing with the drop tower. Table III is a summary of the [samles], and the Figure 7 is a plot of the energy to maximum load."

The word "samples" is misspelled. I put the word in brackets to ease seeing it.

In the caption for Figure 9 at the bottom of the page:
"Figure 9. Sample of northern white cedar. The images in the right-hand side of the figure show the [back sides] of the samples. Note the angle of failure in the lower left image showing the AeroFab side of sample B1."

May I suggest using the word "reverse side" instead of "back sides"

Please forgive my nit-picking, but I notice such things. This is a fine piece of work which serves equally fine as a reference work. I need to think about this some and add more comments if I may.

Again, great work, and thanks very much for the presentation to us all. I always learn from you, and listen to your every thought and comment. This is like a Christmas present come early.
