I'm building an Expedition Single, and i have had similar thoughts.
Even though strips are not pulling away from the forms, they do not hit the forms at the same angle at both sides. This gave me some sleepless nights in the "RUB" stage, but just decided to let it go.
For the same reason i have taken close-up pics and put them on my web-site, as i have been unable to find any pcis elsewhere, where you can see all the dents and cracks :-)

Haven said that, i would absolutely fix your small problem. I would go for the previous suggestions in the following succession :
1. Try to wet the strips, maybe with a damp towel. Give them a go with the heatgun or an iron, and strap the strips down afterwards.
2. Cut bead/cove and re-gule. Strap down.
3. Un-strip and re-strip.

All suggestions wil give a nice result in the end, but depending on your personal level of perfection, option 3 will give you the greatest satisfaction too (IMHO).
