My second surf craft was a waveski. It is at least 8 years old so it is not on the cutting edge of HP waveskis. I demoed an mako extreme and it handled very much like my old waveski. I want a kayak that will handle like a ski! For that you need a very diffrent rail than the Surfyak has. I don't want to allways be worrying over the beach side rail, I want to be able to forget about it and then drop and carve on it.

P.S. Bob loves his Surfyak and paddles it very well. On my build my hull came out flatter and slightly deformed.
