I was going to say possibly a variation on the Mud-Dauber family. I have had a couple build nests in the wall next to my door-bell button. The ones I've seen are solid black, but the pictures I've seen all show some yellow on the legs or abdomen.... ?? These that I have go inside the wall and build the typical mud-sack nest that they show mud-daubers building...

I know one thing.... I don't get close enough to take closeup shots of them...
