Interesting link, good info! 5.8 Meters per second, thats 11 knots, I think. Wonder how they kept their wattage output constant for the test runs?
Here's a couple more facts...
Fresh water weighs 62.4 pounds per cubic foot at 39 degrees Farenheit
Fresh water weighs 59.8 pounds per cubic foot at 212 degrees Farenheit (Skene's '73)
