You mean you're giving up paddling in the mud of the Rio Grande? Okay, I'm envious. Growing up in New Mexico, I caught a lot of black widows, but never had one sting me. Almost got tagged by a scorpion in the bedroom, though.

: It's official! We're moving back to the Willamette valley in Oregon this
: spring. My company has asked me to be the lead guy in starting up a new
: integrated circuit fab. It's a small fab so hopefully I'll have more time
: off. I don't think it's possible to have less time off. In December I'll
: log 260 hours. November I logged 250 hours. These were my slow months.

: So we're packing up the bags and putting the house on the market. Looks like
: I'll once again be moving some unfinished wood working projects.

: We'll be leaving behind the wonderful SW indian culture (and that darned
: black widow that bit my leg) and will be returning to the NW cultures (and
: banana slugs).
