: Well, sure, the back yard is all muddy, the moss has begun to regrow on the
: walks, and the webbing between my toes gives me away. Still, there's not a
: place on earth that is more beautiful in the spring--maybe some as
: beautiful, but none more so. And spring isn't so far away, now that the
: longest day of winter is behind us. Life is good.

I grew up with the webbed feet. Used to go to the Lancaster mall to hang out. This summer I took my wife to Silver Creek Falls state park. She loved it even though no kayaking was involved.

: Be sure to take on that stretch of the Willamette River from the Wheatland
: Ferry down to San Juan Park. It's pretty sweet . . .

We looked into property on the willamette river. Or I could by an 80' yacht for the same money and sail around the world. Man that river is expensive.

We plan on doing a lot of Willamette river trips. I was raised just 3 miles from the river so it has a certain hold on me.
