: strength that I can finish sanding the coaming withoug breaking the it

I glass the deck and cut my cockpit opening ... then glue on the combing risers ... then make a fillet on the exterior deck/riser joint ... and finaly ... glass the riser, fillet and deck (about a 2" wide section). I use the tape trick when making the fillet and glassing the deck portion. I glass the inside and lower edge of the combing tower as well. This process is easy to do and strong.
